I'm always happy to see any kind of new online contests, no matter what niche they are in. When people mention all of the great improvements the Internet has brought, they rarely mention that it's allowed a lot more people to have the opportunity to take part in some pretty cool contests. Keep up the good work . . .

Hi Enno,

Actually, we did not implement the JA-beverage yet. However, the US beverage hangs at approx. 1m distance from the greenhouse (although not as depicted on the air photo) for approx. 1/3 of its length. Our Beverage yields significant better receptions of signals coming from the North West than the K9AY-loops. However, I could not ascertain whether the S/N-ratio IS better. It just becomes 'less silent' when you switch from the loops to the Beverage. It also can be a psycho-acoustical thing. But... listening to the inverted L creates 'magnitudes' more of interference! We stay in touch to test our JA-beverage. The second evening we worked JA, but signals were very weak.

Impressive set-up & and ditto results. One thing: I am a bit concerned about the remark "10000 sq. m. of aluminium greenhouses". Your JA beverage is running very close alongside these alu greenhouses (over its full length). => good-bye radiation pattern ... Maybe that's the reason you could not hear JA.
